Brett + Amy / Wedding

We met Amy at Zach and Jenna's wedding back in 2014, where she was a Bridemaids. Fast-forward a few years later and she reached out to us before she booked anything else and asked for our availability. We met with her and Brett and were just so taken back when she said she was going to pick her date around our availability - WOW! Talk about flattering!!

Their wedding was so special and sweet! Such an honor to be apart! Plus we got to work with our friends Jake and Katie Ford, check out their blog post here with the photos:

Enjoy!

What do you love most about each other?

Amy: He loves with every fiber of his being and isn't afraid to know and own his emotions. He is beautifully raw and honest.

Brett: She's a very passionate spirit. Everything she does, she puts 100% of herself into it. It's very inspiring.

Why did you choose the date and/or time of year of your wedding?

We chose the date for two reasons - #1 It was on Rad Red's list of availability and I knew before I was engaged that they would be doing our wedding video and #2 The weather was still cool enough in Florida for it to not be gross

What was the most memorable part of the wedding day for each of you?

Amy: Brett's vows

Brett: Waiting for her to walk down the aisle (that period of time).

What was your first dance song: "The Way You Look Tonight" by Tony Bennett

What song did you walk down the aisle to: A string quartet version of Here Comes The Bride

Do you have any advice for couples currently planning a wedding?

Be ready to make compromises, but if something is very important to you do not waiver on it -- no matter what anyone says. It's your wedding -- all that matters is what you and your partner want. Above all -- remember that no matter what happens the day of the wedding, you have each other and it is the greatest way to share your love with the world.

Anything other comments?

Something will absolutely go wrong the day of the wedding and no one will notice besides you and your wedding party. When your wedding is over, whatever went wrong won't matter anymore.

Wedding Rundown / Sept 2017

Leo and I shoot around 50 weddings a year right now, so it makes it really hard to blog each and every wedding. SO! We decided to do wedding rundowns where we showcase our favorite highlights from a few different weddings that we have shot this year so far. Really excited about this!! Let's dive right in...

First up, Megan and Richard's Sarasota Wedding

Megan had some GORGEOUS Bridal Details!

The light during their portrait session...PERFECTION!

We do think the highlight of this day was the EPIC dance party! We will never forget it!

Next, Stephen and Stacie's Highland Manor Wedding in Apopka!

#ceremonysitegoals

I mean, how are you not tearing up? Stephen's face was priceless.

The highlight for us however, was the first dance! Just the sweetest!

Anthony and Summer's Downtown Tampa Wedding at the stunning Sacred Heart Catholic Church

The architecture in this church is just absolutely breathtaking. A HUGE highlight to any wedding.

Anthony and Summer's Bridal Party was awesome!

SUNSET PORTRAITS! I mean, its the best!

James and Megan's Fishhawk Wedding

Hands down, the highlight for us was the first look. Its our favorite trend! James' face is...well there isn't a word to do it justice so check out the images below!

Last, but not least! DJ + Chelsey's Clearwater Beach Wedding

BLING FOR DAYS!

Chelsey did a first look with her Dad instead of DJ, so sweet!

Faber (21 of 48).jpg

The highlight for us? THE VOWS. Dj and Chelsey have been together since high school and so their vows were beyond special.

Chelsey surprised DJ with Faber "Terrible Towels" as they entered their reception. His face says it all!

Until next time!
